Summer Program

The Summer Program is for children and is an extension of our After School Program DTT, providing children with disabilities a place to go and have fun while developing interpersonal and life skills.  Learning to share and taking part in group activities such as coloring and indoor bowling,  as well as individual habilitation goals like learning to tie shoes, learning to use the bathroom and eating, to name a few goals.  The program is available from June thru August, and normal business hours are from 8 am to 4 pm.  The program is normally 4 hours a day.   If more time is needed, respite can be utilized and transportation is available.

Daily activities are planned to assist in meeting the following domains of learning:

  • Self Help/Daily Living
  • Socialization
  • Adaptive Skills
  • Participation in His/Her Own Community
  • Communication
  • Motor Skills
