Private Duty Services

Private Duty Home Care provides dependable In-Home care for individuals with short and long term care needs with Activities of Daily Living.  Care is available to Grandparents, Parents, Adults, and Children.  Whether you have a chronic condition requiring care or you are just coming out of the hospital and need a little assistance, we are here to help.  This service does not require a physician's order to receive care.  This care is based on your needs, services can be arranged from as little as 2 hours at a time, to 24 hours.  It can be early morning, mid day, or all day, or as relief so you can take a movie break.  Private Duty Services provides you peace of mind knowing your loved one is cared for.

Examples of who can use home care:

Grandparents:
Typically the elderly,  At some point getting up and dressed in the morning may be too much for your grandparent, taking showers becomes an impossible task, getting up and walking becomes dangerous due to balance creating slips and falls.  Standing for periods at the stove to cook a meal is too difficult.  If your grandparent lives alone they may need companionship, someone to take them out into town, the market or to the local community center. A caregiver can come to the home and assist with all the above assuring grandma and grandpa are safe and well cared for.

Parents/Adults/Children:
As Parents or Adults we do not typically think we will ever need someone to care for us, until that Surgery, Until that Accident that has you down for a few weeks. You can depend on family to come and help you but as we all know our schedules are busy, with our jobs and families limiting the care we can offer.  This is where a trained caregiver can come in and assist you with your specific needs.   Your need can be as simple as preparing meals for the family, cleaning the home and purchasing groceries.  What if its your child that needs care, if you need to work who will stay and care for them, our caregivers are here and ready to help you.

  • Respite Care is a fill-in service for the full-time caregiver, allowing time to take a break from providing care.  You may ask what does this mean to me? does your parent live with you? do you help mom and dad with their meals? bathroom needs? shopping and companionship?  Do you have time for yourself and your immediate family?  If the answer is no I do not have time for myself or my immediate family, then Respite is a term that you need to become aware of.  Respite, simply allows you or the primary caregiver to go and do something other than provide care, it can be a day off, a trip to the doctor, or even allow you time to go to a movie.

"The freedom and comfort of knowing your loved one is being taken care of while you are away."
