CareerGood Neighbor Support Services is continually looking for qualified caregivers for our in-home care. We need caregivers across the entire valley in the following areas:

We hire the highest quality employees and train to a level that exceeds the state caregiving guidelines. Each employee must successfully pass a national background check and an extensive screening process prior to employment.
We are looking for full time and part time caregivers preferrably with experience. We offer competitive wages and flexible work hours.
Applicant Requirements:
Must have a valid Arizona Drivers License and your own vehicle.
Must pass a national background check.
Must provide a current negative TB Skin test or chest x-ray result.
Must provide information on current and past employers.
Must provide 2 non-family reference letters. (If you have never worked before you must provide 3 non-family reference letters).
Must attend a 2-3 day training class.
Additional requirements under DDD:
Must obtain a class one fingerprint clearance card.
Must provide a copy of your MVD report for the last 39 months.
Must provide proof of full coverage automotive insurance.
Must provide a copy of current vehicle registration.
Training
Our training program has implemented the New Direct Care Training (DCW) initiative as of 1/1/2011, assuring all our DCW's are compliant by the 10/1/2012 implementation date. All Caregivers providing Attendant Care, Personal Care, Homemaker Services and Respite Services are required to pass the DCW Training. The training takes 2-3 days and depending on your client needs you may have additional requirements. For information on the new DCW Standard click here.

Fee:
CPR and First Aid - $35.00 fee, it will be deducted from your first paycheck.
Finger Print Cards - call for fee.
TB Test or Chest X-Ray - call for fee.
Additional Training: (These fees do not apply to Good Neighbor Employees), the certificates are transferable for a fee.
Article 9 - call for fee.
Client Intervention Training (CIT) Level I and II - call for fee.
Universal Precautions - call for fee.

In 2011 Caregivers will participate in a new Caregiver Training Process, that can take about 30-40hrs of Training before being employed.
